Ethos
Earthen Tunes was founded by three Yaar (friends) who met in National
Institute of Design, Ahmedabad with a goal to design fancy automobiles.
Soon to realise the impact that design can have on people’s lives, thereafter
shifted the
attention to solving pressing social issues using the principles of
‘Design Thinking’ with empathy at the heart of it.
We take pride in creating local solutions for the unique challenges faced by
diverse communities in India.

creation reflects a global outlook while retaining our Indian essence as a

Sustainability
Sustainability lies at the heart of everything we do at Earthen Tunes. For us
environmental
sustainability is as important as cultural, heritage and
ecological sustainability.
We believe it can go hand in hand with responsible
business practices.
We endorse the idea that local challenges are best tackled with local
remedies,
aligning with the principle of circularity to minimize logistics and
reduce carbon emissions associated with packaging.
Our design decisions,
such as using unpainted boxes, handcrafted with natural materials and dyes,
paper fillings,
and facilitating easy segregation of end-of-life materials, reflect
our commitment to emission reduction.

Our team operates from our studio located in Hyderabad. We see our studio as
akin to a Chaupal,
where we welcome individuals to gather under the shade of
trees and engage in discussions over a cup of tea or coffee.
Nestled amidst
lush
trees and a serene lake, our studio offers a tranquil retreat from the bustling noise
of the old Mumbai highway.
Within the confines of our studio, we conceive, sketch, visualize, and prototype
concepts.
It's here that we meticulously inspect and package each order with
care for our customers, while some opt to visit for more
profound conversations
and purchases. It serves as an experiential hub where visitors can delve into our
rural anecdotes and
learn more about the Desi wool initiative.

“గొంగడి బూట్ల ధర 3 వేలు ఉంటే.. రైతులకు రూ.900కే : వినూత్నంగా ఆలోచించి ఎర్తెన్ ట్యూన్స్ అనే ఆంకుర సంస్థ స్థాపించారు ఈ మిత్రులు. ఆ అంకురం నుంచి గొంగడి, ఉన్నితో షూలు చేసి మార్కెట్లోని తీసుకువచ్చారు. గొంగడి బూట్లు ధర 2 వేల నుంచి 3 వేల వరకు ఉంటుంది. కానీ సబ్సిడీ ద్వారా రూ.100కే రైతులకు అందిస్తున్నారు. ఇలా వీరు చేస్తున్న ప్రయత్నాలకు ప్రముఖుల నుంచి ప్రశంసలు, మన్ననలు అందుకుంటున్నారు”
